Hi! I’m Bri Tobritzhofer. I’m so excited you’re here!
I’m a Minneapolis-St Paul area Registered Dietitian and Health/Nutrition Writer. Most days you can find me cooking up a storm in my kitchen, zenning out on my yoga mat, or cuddling with my corgi sidekick, Winston. I’m known for having a balanced, real, and fresh approach to food and nutrition. My philosophy doesn’t revolve around diets, restriction, or calorie counting, but rather bringing the JOY back to food and all it has to offer. I recommend an eating pattern that contains protein, fat, and carbs in all forms, including lots of veggies and ice cream. I believe food should allow you to live your best life, and not make you miserable, stressed, or deprived.
I love serving the world by translating complicated nutritional science into simple, everyday life habits. The things I am most passionate about are teaching others it’s possible to be healthy while enjoying the foods and activities they love, and showing them that nutritious food doesn’t have to be tasteless and boring. One of my favorite ways to use my dietitian super powers is through writing, which you can find on my blog or elsewhere.
What I’m most proud of is the many years I’ve dedicated to becoming a nutrition expert. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and went on to complete my dietetic internship and master’s degree through Mount Mary University. I’ve been practicing as a RD since 2014 and am currently working for Open Arms of Minnesota, a non-profit organization that cooks & delivers medically tailored meals for people living with life-threatening illnesses in the Twin Cities.
Through Bri Toby Nutrition Company, I help others sort through the noise in the nutrition world to bring them back to what’s simple, practical, and evidence-based.
How do I carry out my mission? I offer a variety of services from nutrition writing & content creation to presentations and grocery store tours. Whether you need support for your business or for yourself, I’ve got you covered. If you’re all set and don’t need a service, come join me on Instagram for food & nutrition inspiration (and cute dog photos of course).
